The Hotel has 55,000 square feet of space, including the 19,000 square
foot Empire State Ballroom, 5,000 square foot Manhattan Ballroom and 40 breakout
rooms.
Manhattan Ballroom: The Manhattan Ballroom is 5,000 square feet and
can accommodate banquets for 350, meetings for up to 400 and receptions for up
to 400. Located on the lobby level, it features 24' glass walls overlooking 42nd Street
and Lexington Avenue. Manhattan Ballroom features electronic drop-down
screens, projectors, black-out shades and curtains. 3,000 square feet of
prefunction space.
Regency Room: 1,400 square feet. Accommodates
from 45 to 150 for VIP conferences.
Empire State Ballroom: 19,000 square feet.
Accommodates 1,700 for dining; 1,150 for classroom-style seating; 1,800 for
theater-style seating and 1,800 for receptions. The Empire State Ballroom, one
of New York's largest ballrooms, is divisible into five smaller rooms.
Conference Rooms: Forty conference rooms
with an average room size of approximately 700 square feet. Each room
accommodates approximately 75 for dining (average), 50 for classroom-style
seating, 95 for theater-style seating, 150 for receptions, and 40 for
conferences. Conference Level and ballrooms all offer high-speed Internet
access. Thirteen conference rooms on the 14th floor, with Boardroom-style
seating for two to 20 people each. All Grand Hyatt New York meeting rooms
feature state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, supplied by the in-house
audio-visual services company.
