Garden Tours
Set amidst lush Mediterranean gardens, Cretan Malia Park offers guests the opportunity to learn about the island’s floral heritage. Join our head gardener on a tour through our beautiful grounds and learn about a world of hundreds of indigenous species, providing a splendid overview of what you can expect to see as you explore the island of Crete.
As part of Cretan Malia Park’s sustainability and conservation ethos, we regularly organise environmental workshops, among other things carrying out recycling activities and cleaning initiatives – come join our efforts!
Biking
Crete’s curvy country roads and beautiful scenery make it the perfect place to enjoy bike riding. Visit some of our neighbouring landmarks, or simply set off with no fixed destination in mind and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.
Cretan Malia Park is proud to be a bike-friendly hotel; guests travelling with their own bikes can use our safe bike parking space, and guests travelling without two wheels can take advantage of our mountain bike rental station (*open Monday to Saturday from 9.00 to 19.00, service available at an extra charge).

Wine Tasting
In order to showcase and promote Crete’s indigenous grape varieties, we organise special wine appreciation events. In doing so, we also support local wine producers who practice sustainable cultivation, as part of the Futouris project for Sustainable Viticulture.
Come and join us on one of these occasions and get acquainted with Crete’s most iconic varieties, Plyto, Dafni, Vilana, Mandilari and Kotsifali. Savour them with delicious local cheeses pairings, including Tirozouli, Anthotiros, Xynomizithra, Mizithra, and Gruyere – a gourmet immersion into the flavours and aromas of Crete.
Theme Nights
Cretan Malia Hotel regularly hosts themed dining nights, which often include entertainment. Among our successful theme nights, we offer a Cretan Soul evening: enjoy a degustation menu accompanied by new generation Cretan wines – the perfect way to immerse yourself in Crete’s celebrated food culture.
All theme nights are offered at a charge for Half Board guests and at a supplement for All Inclusive guests.
Cooking Lessons

Here at Cretan Malia Park, we provide tailored services and facilities to ensure children enjoy a playful, engaging holiday and parents have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of Mediterranean living. With so much on offer, we are proud to be one of the best resorts in Crete for families.
During the day, Cretan Malia Park Kid’s Club provides a full programme of recreational activities and entertainment that are especially tailored for children, allowing them to explore a world of playful memories to take home and treasure. Kid’s Club is open from 10:00 to 12:30 and 15:30 to 17:30 daily and is available for children aged between 4 and 12 years old. During high season, we also offer a Teenager’s Club for children aged between 13 and 17.
Families with newer additions to the family will appreciate our Baby Package: rent buggies, baby phones, changing mats and more during your stay with us and enjoy complimentary use of baby beds, high chairs, bottle sterilisers and other useful amenities. Cretan Malia Park can also arrange a babysitting service* for when parents want to enjoy an evening to themselves. Please contact us for more information about our extensive child-friendly services.

Stroll the soft sands of our private beach, fully equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and plush beach towels and indulge in bliss with a refreshing drink or a light snack from our Beach Bar.
Our Water Sports centre is fully equipped with canoes, pedalos and windsurfing equipment. The idyllic water temperature are also ideal for snorkeling.
