Blue Course at Wigwam Resort
The Blue Course , also designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., plays to 6,112
yards and roughly follows the hole routing of The Wigwam's original course.
Although shorter in length than the Gold Course, the Blue course is just as
challenging. Scoring well requires pinpoint accuracy and a strong understanding
of golf strategy. Elevated greens with classic Jones bunkering will challenge
your short game.
Gold Course at Wigwam Resort
The Gold Course measuring nearly 7,200 yards, was designed by Robert Trent
Jones, Sr. The most famous of The Wigwam courses, the Gold Course has been
consistently rated as one of the top resort courses in the nation, earning Golf
Magazine's Silver Medal Award and one of the top resort courses in Arizona by
Golf Digest. It offers nearly twice the acreage as most desert courses built
today and features elevated greens, narrow landing areas, elongated tees and
strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.
Red Course at Wigwam Resort
The Red Course at 6,861 yards, is The Wigwam's most modern design. It was
created by local golf legend Robert "Red" Lawrence and offers players
an open, airy layout that is dotted with numerous lakes, rock filled creeks, and
gigantic greens, with four finishing holes known to offer an exceptional
challenge.
