The small island of Sikinos is located between Ios and Folegandros and
belongs to the Cyclades group. With about 300 inhabitants mainly occupied with
fishing and sheep flocks and to a lesser extent agriculture as the land is arid
and the climate is dry.
The locals are simple, warm-hearted, hospitable people taking great pains
over a comfortable stay for visitors to their island.
