The Prefecture of Attica (Attiki) is located in the eastern area of
Central Greece and home to the capital city of Athens.
A peninsula bordered by the sea on three sides covering an area of 3,408 km2.
The landscape is partially mountainous with three mountain peaks around the
capital: Mount Pendeli, Mount Ymittos and Mount Parnitha, the highest peak of

The Prefecture of Attica is steeped in the history of Ancient Greece as it
