Canada is the second largest country in the world with close
to 10 Million km2. Population in Canada is just over 30 Million.
Canada's capital is Ottawa,
but the largest city in Canada is Toronto
(ON, Canada), following by Montrιal
(QC, Canada) and then Vancouver
(BC, Canada). Other major cities in Canada are: Victoria
(BC, Canada), Edmonton
(AB, Canada), Calgary
(AB, Canada) and Winnipeg
(MB, Canada). The Largest province in Canada is Quebec. However the largest
population is in Ontario with capital city of Toronto whose population is almost
half of the population in Ontario. Visit other Canadian cities as well: London,
Burnaby, Red
Deer, Mississauga
and Yellowknife in
NorthWest Teritories.
With its history, people, landscape and natural beauty, Canada offers an
abundance of well-known cities, attractions, parks and regions that make for
wonderful destinations whether you're looking for a trip that's educational,
inspiring or just plain fun. But don't pass up a chance to explore the
less-travelled areas, too - at the fringes of the inhabited world, great
challenges, eye-opening experiences and hospitable people await.
Population in Canada like in other countries is tightly bound with
population growth rate. Canada's natural growth rate is 0.4% (percent), but
Canada's overall growth rate is 1.0%, due to Canada's immigration policies. It
has been approximated that by 2070, Canada's population will double from 30
million to 60 million people in Canada.
Canada is well known for its stunning natural beauty and Canadian hockey,
but is also famous for its cosmopolitan multicultural cities and high quality of
life. Don't forget Canadian Basketball as well. Beautiful country to travel and
explore. Rich with holidays, it makes Canada another good reason to live in.
Canad is known for other things like Canda maple syrup, Canda ice wine,
cleanliness, communication industry, Canadian Fishing and hunting natural
resources. Canad is also well known for quality post secondary education having
university in each province. See list of all Universities in Canada.
Canada's four seasons, each distinctly different, add to this
country's appeal. In autumn, the crisp air invites you outdoors to enjoy
the brilliant colors of fall foliage. In winter, the landscape is
blanketed by glistening white snow. Learn to ski on nearby ski hills or
ice skate along frozen rivers. Spring arrives as early as February on
the West Coast, bringing with it the scent of lilacs, daffodils and
hyacinths. And in the summer, Canada is gloriously warm and inviting.
The summer in Canada is similar to that of the northern half of the
U.S., with warm-hot weather from May to October, while residents of
Vancouver Island can play golf 12 months of the year. The ski season
runs from December until the end of March in the East, to the end of May
in the West (later in some resorts). The spectacular colors of the fall
season are best viewed (in eastern Canada) in late September or early
October.
As Canada is so large, the climate varies widely. The southernmost
part of Canada, Point Pelee, is on the same latitude as northern
California, while the Canadian northland extends deep into the Arctic.

are planning to visit.
